Save Energy

The earth provides enough to satisfy every man’s needs but not every man’s greed-Madatma Gandhi Said. Coal, Electricity oil and natural gas - the most utilized sources take thousands of years for formation. India has approximately 1% of world’s energy resources but it has 16% of world population. Non-renewable energy sources constitute 80% of the fuel use. It is said that our energy resources may last only for another 40 years or so. About 75 per cent of our crude oil needs are met from imports which would cost about Rs.1, 50,000 crore a year. Imagine your savings if your LPG cylinder comes for an extra week or there is a cut in your electricity bills. When we use fuel wood efficiently, our fuel wood requirements are lower and so is our drudgery for its collection. When we save one unit of energy, it is equivalent to 2 units of energy produced. Save energy to reduce pollution. Energy production and use account to large proportion of air pollution and more than 83 percent of greenhouse gas emissions. An old Indian saying indicates the earth; water and the air are not a gift to us from our parents but a loan from our children.

Instead of all these we have better effort on solar energy and its proper utilization and another to less consumption of electricity energy. For solar energy we have better communicate to the Ministry of Energy and for using this we will get better save to other energy those are scare in supply. In solar energy we will get same as other energy and the Govt. subside on this by some financial institutional or sector. For the saving of electricity energy use CFL lamps and in rural or urban areas catch electric current thieves and aware them about scares in supply. On proper time payment made to the department and not use unnecessary or waste it if we are not get benefit. Since 2007 we are on this way of awareness.

For Knowledge and world Bank report, roughly 40 percent of residences in India are without electricity.

But, in a way, concepts like 'power cuts' and load-shedding are not new. In fact, they have become an everyday routine. People in some parts of India live without electricity for 6-10 hours everyday because the country people don't deserve such ill treatment. The only way to stop this menace is to save electricity. So here are some ways the organization thinks shall poverty very effective in saving electricity.

If we are reading it means you have a computer or a laptop and undoubtedly, a computer monitor whenever we feel that we won't be using our computer for about 15-20 minutes, please take the efforts to switch off the computer monitor. This will slim down our electricity bill significantly. If we turn off our monitor for a minute, a bulb can be lit in some remote part of India for about 2 minutes.

Well, if we have a computer and we may also have a T.V set. If we are the person who hangs on to only 1 programme, we can put off the T.V. during ad commercials. For that, we must know the duration of the interval. This will ensure that we don't miss out anything of the programme! If we reside at an above sea-level region, minimize the use of fans. We can enjoy pleasant breezes by keeping all your doors and windows open. Try to switch off all our electrical appliances for at least half an hour everyday. If we are a millionaire, go solar. Try solar water heaters, solar cookers, solar cell etc. and if we are not a millionaire, use renewable resources as much as possible. The most famous sentence we have ever heard - SWITCH OFF ALL FANS AND LIGHTS WHEN NOT REQUIRED. Don't take the above advice very seriously. We don't need to turn off a fan if we are going to use it after a minute or so and vice versa. If we do so, we will end up spending more electricity! Roam around (in our home!) every once in a while to ensure all electrical appliances are used only as per their requirements. Get paranoid about this trend. Let people call you 'The Electric Nerd' or 'The Complete Saver' or something similar. Let us spread the word. Make our family, friends and relatives aware of this. Encourage them to save electricity.
