Health and Fitness has now become one of the major concerns. Earlier humans used to hunt for their living, due to which their body had to undergo a lot of physical exercise. This made life active and alert. Now, life has become more simple and easy. Everything we need is just a phone call away. This easy life has restricted humans to do that bit of physical exercise, which is required to keep the body fit and healthy. We get instant, spicy and variety of food, which lose their nutrition during the process. How do we ensure that we have all that we need to have a healthy living? This is a big question among everyone. We need proper nutrition and a fit and belathy body. Good Health is all that one craves for. Becoming healthier and fitter though not very difficult needs dedicated efforts. This organization overall give some general 100 health tips for the betterment of life likely, Rule to Eating -eat at fixed hours, start the day with good breakfast, do not eat in between two meals, eat in relaxed and jovial mood, keep the surroundings of eating place clean, take sufficient time to chew properly, eat some quantity of salad at every meal, increase use of green and leafy vegetables, increase the use of sprouted grains, add 500 gms of soya seeds in ten kilos of wheat before milling, once every week eat millet-jowar-nachini or oats in place of conventional wheat and rice, do not eat food cooked on the previous day and refrigerated, eat one seasonal fruit after every meal, always eat less than what is required, do not eat if you are frightened or worried, reduce consumption of salt, reduce consumption of sugar, reduce consumption of pickles, after meals take some quantity of anne seed with clove or elachi, do not watch television while eating, maintain lively conversation while eating, liberally use meem/garlic/ginger in food preparations, stop use of canned and preserved food, avoid use of polished rice and try brown rice, avoid preparation of white flour (maida),avoid too cold or too hot foods or drinks, reduce eating fried and spicy foods, minimize consumption of meat and flesh, fast every week for one meal or one day, do not take fast foods as regular meals, do not take tea or coffee after meals, Rule to Drinking- do not drink water an hour before and after meals, drink 3-4 glasses of lukewarm water first thing in the morning, drink 12-14 glasses of water every day, do not get used to mineral or treated water, do not take any intoxicating drink, avoid taking soft and bottled drinks, liberally take curd preparations like lassi and butter milk, take juice of one or two limes daily, minimize intake of tea and coffee, drink a cup of hot milk before going to bed, Rule to Cleanliness –take bath daily and if possible twice in every day, clean and rub feet with rough stone to remove dead tissues, occasionally put common salt in the bucket full of hot water and take bath, regular clean hair with soap or shampoo, clean and brush teeth in the morning, gargle and clean mouth after every meal, rub teeth with clean cloth after bath, clean nostrils and ears with towel after bath, gargle mouth with salt water every day, ensure dry and clean kitchen and bathrooms and toilets, ensure sunlight exposure in maximum areas of house, ensure to clean bowels once everyday, do not withhold calls of nature (urination or motion), remove unwanted hair regularly and keep private part clean, do not use talcum powder and other make up material, Rule to Clothing-avoid wearing synthetic garments, always wear cloth lightly and loosely, do not wear same socks for more than a day, change under garments twice daily and tolerate no foul smell, do not use handkerchief of any one else, Rule to Sleeping-ensure gap of at least two hours between meals and sleep, go for sleep at fixed hours, inculcate habit of rising before sunrise, do not take tea or coffee before sleep, do light and inspirational reading for 15 minutes before sleep, sleep at least for 7-8 hours daily, ensure good ventilation in bedroom, avoid sleeping in air-conditioned room, avoid using mosquito repellent room, expose our body to sunlight, use a soft and thin pillow, raise the leg side of the cot so that feet are at higher level, change the bed sheet before going for sleep, relax every hour for few minutes, have a light face wash before sleep, Rule to Exercising –walk in the morning and or in the evening for at least 30 minutes in clean and fresh air, do some physical work to perspire, do some yogas or exercises for 10 minutes, take deep breathes for 5-10 times at least twice in a day, play outdoor games whenever possible , Rule to Medicating – have yourself checked for blood pressure and diabetes regularly and say every three months, watch your weight and check every month and control intake, get complete blood test done once every year and including cholesterol, get eye sight checked periodically, take preventive vaccines to control diseases, avoid self medication, take any pill or medicine after meals unless advised by the doctor, do not ignore unusual symptoms and consult your doctors quickly, Rule to Smoking-stop smoking forthwith, do not sit near some one who is smoking, stop chewing tobacco ,Rule to Controlling-restrain in the matter of sensual desires, maintain correct posture while sitting and standing and walking, speak in modulated and soft and low voice, control anger and jealousy, Rule to Attitudes-help some one daily in any possible manner, keep smiling and be cheerful, pray regular and always thank God, keep yourself busy.
